Floors 1 through 3 are dedicated to exhibitions featuring one of the world’s richest collections of Chinese art and cultural treasures, earning the museum recognition as one of the world’s four great museums. As a popular attraction for visitors from around the globe, it is common to face long waits when purchasing tickets on-site.

Visitors with disabilities may enter free of charge.
Guests who present a disability certificate, along with one accompanying person, may enter free of charge, regardless of nationality.
Additional companions must purchase admission tickets at the applicable rate before entering.

Your voucher with the QR code will be sent separately to the email address you provided. Please be sure to check your email.
At the entrance, show the staff either a printed voucher with the QR code or your mobile voucher. Once it has been scanned, you may enter. - How to Rent an Audio Guide

Audio guides are available in Korean, English, Chinese, Taiwanese, Hakka, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Cantonese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. At the audio guide pickup counter on the 1st floor, present a valid ID, driver’s license, National Health Insurance card, passport, or Alien Resident Certificate, and pay the rental fee and NT$1000 deposit to receive your audio guide.
Please do not take the audio guide outside the museum. If it is lost or damaged, you will be required to pay compensation at its original cost.
*****Please make sure to collect your audio guide before entering the museum.

- Exit from Exit 1 of Shilin Station on the MRT Red Line, board a bus at the stop in front of Watsons along the main road, and get off at the National Palace Museum stop.
