Important Information
▶Once your booking is confirmed, changes and cancellations are not permitted. Please keep this in mind when making your reservation.
▶ The 1-day pass allows unlimited rides during operating hours on the day of activation.
It is valid only on the day it is activated, and each ride is for one person.
▶Please be sure to check the operating hours.
If you are unable to redeem your ticket during the specified period, please redeem it during other regular operating hours within the validity period.
▶ In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to typhoons, earthquakes, heavy rain, and other natural disasters, the organizer may postpone or cancel the event for public safety and will notify you in advance.
If any matters remain unresolved, the organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or change the event details.

- The Maokong Gondola is Taipei’s first gondola system, featuring an automated circulating system manufactured by French company POMA. The line is 4.03 km long, and a one-way ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Your voucher with a QR code will be sent separately to the email address you provided. Please be sure to check your email.
At the entrance, present either a printed voucher with the QR code or a mobile voucher to the staff. They will scan it to grant you entry.
- Additional Information & Notes
- Please check your physical condition before boarding the gondola. If you have cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, a fear of heights, or any physical discomfort, please refrain from boarding.
- Please line up for the gondola according to staff instructions. Never board or disembark without staff guidance. Upon arrival, please exit in order. After disembarking, please do not remain on the platform for an extended period.
- Each gondola cabin accommodates up to 8 passengers, with a maximum total weight of 640 kg for standard cabins. Maokong Gondola Crystal Cabins accommodate up to 5 passengers, with a maximum total weight of 400 kg. Please distribute yourselves evenly on both sides of the cabin.
- Do not stand, jump, or rock the gondola while it is in operation.
- Elderly passengers, children, and passengers who require assistance must ride with a companion.
- Strollers, wheelchairs, and mobility scooters must not exceed 140 cm in length, 70 cm in width, or 170 cm in height, and must be secured inside the gondola cabin to prevent hazards when the cabin sways.
- Passengers with strollers, wheelchairs, or electric scooters should follow station staff instructions when boarding and alighting from the cabins.
- Gondola service will be suspended if lightning strikes along the route. Please follow staff instructions and cooperate with them for your safety.
- If you are traveling with a passenger who has difficulty walking or uses a wheelchair, the system will slow down or temporarily stop to make boarding and disembarking easier. Please do not be alarmed.
- Smoking, eating or drinking (except bottled water), and chewing gum or betel nut are prohibited inside the gondola. Please do not throw anything outside.
- Please do not lean against the doors or obstruct their opening and closing.
- Passengers who violate any laws, public order regulations, or standards of conduct while using the gondola may be subject to penalties under the applicable laws or regulations.
